The Brief
Albendo is a tiles, bathroom fixtures, and home renovation products retailer based in Lelystad. They work with multiple suppliers and needed an online store that could handle thousands of products without manual data entry, show real-time stock levels, and compete with larger e-commerce platforms on search. The old workflow was entirely manual: updating products by hand, no live stock visibility, and no way for customers to calculate exactly how much material they needed.
Smart Product Browsing
Every collection page shows products with live stock counts and per-square-meter pricing, so customers know exactly what's available and what it costs before they click. Advanced filters let shoppers narrow by size, color, material, and price range. New arrivals appear automatically and out-of-stock items disappear in real time.
Custom Square Meter Calculator
Tiles are sold by the square meter, but customers think in rooms. We built a custom calculator that lets shoppers enter their surface area (or length and width), set a cut loss percentage for waste, and see exactly how many packs they need and what the total costs. It updates in real time, shows live stock availability, and removes the guesswork from ordering the right amount. This is the kind of tool that turns browsers into buyers.
Automated Supplier Sync
Albendo works with multiple suppliers who each deliver product data in different formats. We built a custom scraper that runs twice daily, importing nearly 4,000 products per run: prices, stock levels, specifications, and images. A second path performs live stock checks when customers visit product pages. The entire catalog stays current without anyone touching a spreadsheet. What used to take hours of manual data entry now happens automatically in the background.
Full Store Management
Through the Nurani client portal, Albendo manages their entire operation from one place. The product catalog gives a real-time view of all 5,000+ products with stock status, pricing, suppliers, and categories. Filters and search make it easy to find any product instantly. Orders flow through a clear pipeline from inbox to fulfillment, with status tracking, payment monitoring, and customer details at every step. No switching between systems, no manual syncing between platforms.
The Results
Before launching with Nurani, Albendo was invisible on Google. Within months, Google indexed over 6,100 product pages and the site generated 815 clicks from 58,200 impressions in its first year. Trending queries include product-specific terms and local searches like 'vloerenwinkels Lelystad' and 'wandpanelen Lelystad'. Image search alone drives 50+ additional clicks per quarter. Albendo received more orders in their first month on the new platform than nearly the entire previous year combined.
